The Hope Home
The Hope Home
Fowler Homes has proudly partnered with Gumboot Friday and the I Am Hope Foundation to build a home in Queenstown!
The home will be auctioned in October 2024, with 100% of the profits going direct to Mike King’s I Am Hope Foundation. The Foundation will use this money to continue to provide free counselling and support for young people 25 years and under around Aotearoa!

Hope is the heartbeat of resilience
Gumboot Friday & I Am Hope
Changing the future of New Zealand is a community effort, the foundation cannot do it on their own and rely on the support of amazing people like you to support them.
I Am Hope and Gumboot Friday, Mike King’s charity, continue to provide free counselling and support for young people 25 years and under around New Zealand when they need it most.
Gumboot Friday is on a crusade to change the lives of our young people and they need your help to do so! 100% of the funding that goes to Gumboot Friday is used to pay for counselling sessions for our Tamariki.
The I Am Hope Foundation covers the administration of the counselling sessions provided through Gumboot Friday. They also provide in school programmes through I Am Hope and other community initiatives as well as supporting inspiring young people in their mahi.
