Fowler Homes Christchurch North is a family-owned and operated group home-building company based in Rangiora. We are part of a nationwide building franchise that has been in operation since 1984.  Our expert team offers diverse build services, including design and build, house and land packages, investment properties, knockdown and rebuild, and architectural design services.

About the Role 

You’ll be the key link between our suppliers, project managers, and, at times, clients – making sure everything runs smoothly and profitably from contract through to Code of Compliance. This role is heavily focused on pricing and contract management, so attention to detail is a must. We use Buildertrend as our project management system, so experience with it (or similar software) will be a big plus.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Coordinate with suppliers, project managers, and occasionally clients
• Prepare quotes, purchase orders, and job pricing
• Review back-costing and identify efficiencies
• Manage contract variations and draft detailed addendums
• Oversee materials, supply acquisition, and consent documentation
• Assist with subdivision and title processing

What we’re looking for: 

• Previous experience in residential construction and confidence reading building plans
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Great communication skills – written, phone, and face-to-face
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt in a dynamic environment
• Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar construction project management software (preferred)
